Former Atalanta midfielder Massimo Donati has described Ademola Lookman an “incredible player” and claimed the winger has finally “gained awareness”.
Lookman has been one of the top performers for Atalanta since joining La Dea from Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig two years ago.
The 27-year-old scored 17 goals and contributed 10 assists in 45 games across all competitions for Atalanta in the 2023-24 season.

The winger has made a similarly productive start to this campaign, finding the net 11 times in 19 club games for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
The Nigeria international was crowned CAF Men’s Player of the Year on Monday.
“Lookman is an incredible player,” Donati, a former midfielder for Atalanta and Celtic Glasgow, told Gazzetta.
“The biggest improvement he’s made is to gain awareness of his strengths. Once you realise that, nobody can stop you.”
