Former Abia Warriors forward Michael Olaha scored a spectacular goal and also scooped the Man-of-the-Match award in Song Lam Nghe An’s 2-0 win over Quang Nam in the V-League on Saturday.
Olaha opened the scoring in the 20th minute before an own goal from Dinh Viet Tu ensured maximum points for the hosts in what was the first game of a new V-League season.
Receiving a through pass from the left, the 22-year-old fired an unstoppable volley with his left-foot from a nearly impossible angle to stun the visitors, much to the delight of the home fans.
Reacting to his impressive performance and the goal, a very elated Olaha revealed his surprise for scoring such a magnificent goal and set himself a target of finishing as the highest goal scorer in Vietnam this season.
