George Ford says Leicester Tigers must strive for consistency in 2019 as they look to improve in the Gallagher Premiership.
The Tigers are down in ninth place in the table and host Gloucester on Saturday following a 23-16 defeat against Bath on Sunday.

Ford wants his side to start the new year as they mean to go on when the Cherry and Whites, who lost to Sale Sharks last time out, visit and he’s called for consistency as they look to bridge the four-point gap between themselves and the top four.
“It is the next game so it is our biggest game,” he said. “We are at home again. Gloucester will be disappointed with their result last weekend and will want a good reaction, so will we. “I can’t work out what is going on at the moment.
It is a tough competition and if you aren’t quite there week to week mentally you will get beaten.” “We speak about consistency and not just getting up for one game, producing the performance one game and not being there the next.
It is a little bit of where we are at the minute. “We have another big game coming up this week against Gloucester which we have to turn up for.”
