As a result of his promising performances, Arsenal and clubs in the Bundesliga have shown interest.
However, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, via Football Italia, Fiorentina director Daniele Prade and CEO Joe Barone have been hard at work in Milan on Monday afternoon trying to reach an agreement over a new deal.
Kayode currently earns an estimated €30,000 per season, which, according to recent reports from Corriere Fiorentino, is set to be increased significantly to a figure closer to €1m per year.
It is believed that La Viola are prepared to hand Kayode a five-year deal.
Kayode is still eligible to play for Nigeria through his parents.
In July 2023, he decided the final of the 2023 UEFA European U-19 Championship, which Italy won 1–0 to Portugal.
