Finidi George says he is fully concentrated on his new job at Rivers United after his troubled spell with the Super Eagles.
The 53-year-old signed a two-year contract with the former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL)
champions in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
Finidi is returning to the dugout again few weeks after quitting his role as Super Eagles head coach.
The former Ajax winger said he is ready for the new challenge.
“My job with the Super Eagles did not work out, I have to move on and impact our league here. You can’t just be idle as a coach,” Finidi said at his unveiling ceremony.

Rivers United about to be relegated,he will play them out of position and bench his best players
Appreciate him for taken up another job immediately instead of seating his ass arround and waiting for NT job like others. He will definitely come back good for him.
Rivers will not be relegated, was that how he relegated Enyimba? Some gullible fans can always miss the point that Finidi is average but not bad. Remo stars will win the league this coming season and Rangers will be second. Next season I’m tipping BLA to cause an upset like Leicester.
I so much love him his so humble I wish coach finidi the best
