President of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Gianni Infantino has congratulated Shehu Dikko on his appointment as chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC).
Dikko, a member of the FIFA Stakeholders Committee appointment was confirmed last week.
Infantino expressed confidence in the sports administrator’s ability to achieve success in his new assignment.

“On behalf of the international committee, I would like herewith to extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to you on the occasion of your recent appointment as the Chairman of the National Sports Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Infantino stated in his congratulatory letter.
“I am convinced that your knowledge and experience, but also your passion and personal qualities, will have a significant impact will have a significant impact in the accomplishment of your new tasks.
“I wish the best of luck, and every success for all the challenges that lie ahead and already a lot satisfaction in your new position.”
