According to reports in France, Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir has flown to Spain to undergo a medical with Spanish side Real Betis. The playmaker has been linked with a move for the last 12 months, but his switch to Liverpool collapsed last summer due to an issue with his medical.

Fekir continued to impress in Ligue 1 but has now agreed to move to Spain for the first time in his career. The France international has one year left on his current deal at Lyon but has been in discussions with several clubs since the end of last season.
Fekir has agreed personal terms and will sign a five-year deal with Betis and it is thought that a fee of 20million euros has been agreed between the two clubs. Both Juventus and Arsenal have been linked in the past but it is Betis that have now won the race for the 26-year-old.
