Arsenal’s England-born Nigerian striker Nathan Butler-Oyedeji is attracting interest from from Swiss club FC Zurich.
Sources informed Football Insider that FC Zurich have enquired over Butler-Oyedeji’s availability in the January transfer window as they look to bolster their attacking options.
Arsenal are keen to tie Butler-Oyedeji down to a new contract but talks have stalled.
The 21-year-old impressed in pre-season for Arsenal and has been on the bench in the Premier League and Champions League this season.
He has scored seven goals and provided six assists in nine games for Arsenal’s Under-21s this season.
He joined the Gunners at the age of eight and turned professional in 2021 and has already earned senior experience on loan at Accrington Stanley and Cheltenham Town.
He made 24 appearances in League One across both spells and has also tasted senior action with Arsenal in the EFL Trophy.
