Everton progressed to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after beating Tottenham 5-4 in a thrilling encounter that went to extra time at Goodison Park.
Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi featured in the game and gave a good account of himself as he was involved in the build up to Everton’s fourth goal scored by Richarlison.
Having led 1-0 through Davinson Sanchez’s opener Spurs then went 3-1 down following goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson.

However, Spurs recovered to make it 3-3 thanks to Erik Lamela and Sanchez who got their second and third goals.
Richarlison put Everton back in the lead at 4-3 but Harry Kane’s header forced the match into extra time.
And in the first half of extra time, Bernard then settled the tie with a fine strike off a superb assist from Sigurdsson.
At the King Power stadium, Kelechi Iheanacho was the hero as his stoppage time goal sealed a 1-0 win for Leicester against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Also in action for the Foxes was Wilfred Ndidi who returned from injury.

Nice one iwobi. Keep shining but add goals to your game as well.
Leicester should not be rushing ndidi back to the field after his injury. I know they need him but they should be careful not to over exert him.
