QPR playmaker Ebere Eze has claimed that teammate Bright Osayi-Samuel is like a brother to him and that it is a blessing to play alongside him.
The attacking duo have had the best season’s of their respective careers and been two of the R’s most dangerous weapons in the final third this season – scoring 18 goals and providing 12 assists between them.
Eze has been the more productive of the two, grabbing 12 goals and four assists, but Osayi-Samuels contributions, six goals and eight assists, and the constant threat he poses should not be underestimated.
The R’s attackers have a long friendship, having first played together at the start of secondary school, and, speaking in an Instagram live Q&A, Eze addressed his relationship with the 22-year-old.
He said: “Me and Bright weren’t in the same school team. We were in the same district team.

“It’s a blessing because you don’t usually get to work with people you’ve grown up with.
“He’s like a brother to me, so it’s good to share the field with him and it makes everything we do even more special.”
It appears as if the west London club may struggle to keep the duo together this summer as they have both been linked with moves to the Premier League this season.
Tottenham, Crystal Palace, and Sheffield United are all understood to be interested in a move for Eze, while Southampton were reportedly keen on Osayi-Samuel in January.
