“I was quite young at that time and it was difficult to accept the offer to play for the Super Eagles,” Torunarigha told Completesports.com in an exclusive interview at the team’s hotel in Uyo.
“I never visited Nigeria before now and that played a key role in my decision. You know I grew up in Germany and it was easy to accept Germany then.
”I later discussed with my family and took the decision to play for the Super Eagles.
“This is my first time in Nigeria and I ‘m enjoying every bit of it. I want to be part of this team for a long time.”
