Former Nigerian midfielder, Etim Esin has revealed that he would have accepted Saudi Arabia League mouth-watering offer if he was in the shoes of Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen.
Recall that Al Hilal ‘submitted a £120.3M offer for the Napoli striker as the Saudi Pro League side ‘tried to lure the Nigerian striker to the Middle East with £1M-per-week wages’.
However, Osimhen rejected the deal and preferred to remain with the Serie A champions.

In a chat with Completesports.com, Esin noted that Osimhen should have accepted the offer considering the fact that a deal of this nature only comes once in a life time.
“To be sincere, I would have accepted the offer from the Saudi Pro League club if I was in Osimhen’s shoes because it’s a life time offer that comes just once.
“One thing Osimhen must understand again is that players have limited time to enjoy their career and God forbid, if injury set in, the player’s worth might decline.
“At the end of the day, how much did Napoli pay to get Osimhen. They would have gotten double of the money. Right now, he is the hottest striker in Europe after Haaland.
“Since age is on his side, I hope he stays injury free but if you ask me, I would have joined the Saudi club.”

Point of correction an avrage player like you will not get an offer in Saudi talkless of Once in a life times. Yeye man even Kante was offered 2x times more than Osimhen after he was 2 years on the side lines why?.. because he made his name competeing against the best. this is to show you people 1 these ex internationals do not care about the well being of SE or putting SE on the map they are only about Financial gains. because i don’t see how these mumu people will come and start wishing our best ever player moves to Saudi.

You guys need to chill about the way you talk. Life definitely is not like this…honestly. Learn humility. Of course, I also don’t agree with him. Esin is from the last generation, and having a different opinion is okay. Osihmen is not a kid; he knows what is worth, and one of the reasons why he’s excelling right now is because of the right decisions he has taken. So, he will make a good decision for himself. It’s not smart to jump on older ones for their different opinions, especially on things that concern you less. Ire o.
If Napoli don’ agree to the term’s nothing osimhen can do. There are two agreements. Club Agreements and personal agreements.
Beside osimhen is making over 120000$ per week on his current contract.
So he is set for life as it is.
At 24 when Osimhen is only 3rd to Haaland and Mbappe with a chance to shine and win Madrid’s heart then this man is releasing this sad talk. Boy has the time in the world to make Asia move in future and earn more cash. Esin and co should not unsettle and distract our main striker.
It is so disappointing that even with the age of Esin he has not learnt anything and he is ready to act exactly the same way he did that ruined his career.Osimhen is a growing star and when he arrives fully on the stage like C Ronaldo, what he will be offered will be outrightly outrageous but for now it is best he grows is game in the best of leagues and get the necessary followership that will make the little but rich league offer him great retirement package.
Soccer evolve and VO will get times two of what the Saudi league is offering right now by the time he clock 28 to 30yo. I only pray injury respect him.
Esin is the silliest fool that never realized his full potentials for himself or for the Nation. He went to Belgium having being assisted by then Late captain Keshi to play football professionally. Instead of dedicating himself to what brought him to Europe, he was found to have rape an underage European girl. To escape justices, he eloped back to Nigeria where he remine hidden for over ten years. As he just emerged from his life ordeal. he want to offer advice to our #1 world class player like Osimhen who have his head-on-his-body. Silly fool. Esin life was played out right before our eyes just 40 years ago or so. Many of us saw it all.
