Former Nigerian international, Nduka Ugbade has advised Victor Boniface to learn from Victor Osimhen’s goal scoring exploit in the Super Eagles.
Recall that Boniface made his senior national debut against Sao Tome where Nigeria triumphed 6-0 in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
However, it was the Napoli striker that grabbed the headline with his hattrick, to take his Super Eagles tally to 20 goals, becoming the highest-scoring active player in the national team.

In a chat with Completesports.com, Ugbade stated that Boniface has a lot to learn from Osimhen in the Super Eagles.
“Yes, Boniface is a brilliant player and he has exhibited it with some of the goals he scored in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen.
“However, he’s just new in the national team and most especially in a striking position that has Osimhen. I think there is a lot he can learn from Osimhen and others because they understand the system.”

Ugbade, please keep quiet! Unlike Osimhen, Boniface is a support strker and on the ball, slightly technically superior to Osimhen. They will complement each other, and the learning will be mutual.
