Former Nigerian winger, Garba Lawal has exposed some of the strengths of Guinea-Bissau ahead of Friday’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Super Eagles.
Recall that Nigeria will face Guinea-Bissau in a double-header for the biannual competition.
However, in a chat with Completesports.com, Lawal stated that the Super Eagles must watch Gunea-Bissau’s physical and counter attack approach.
‘I expect the Super Eagles to keep a close watch on Guinea-Bissau’s physical and counter attack approaches.
“They have strong players and will want to utilise that part to weigh down the Super Eagles. Nigeria must have to be careful at the back, the players must avoid making avoidable mistakes because this is a team that can capitalise on any opportunities that cakes there way.
” I expect a tight game but at the end I pray the Super Eagles comes out with the three points.”
