Former Flying Eagles striker and Montpellier Star Akor Adams has been included in the Ligue 1 Team of the Week.

Adams bagged his second brace in his last three Ligue 1 games for Montpellier, as the French side thrashed Toulouse 3-0 on Sunday.
The 23-year-old Nigerian striker opened the scoring in the 13th minute before getting his second on 72 minutes to make it 3-0.

His brace against Toulouse took his tally in the French topflight to seven from nine games.
Prior to his transfer to Montpellier, Adams scored 15 goals in 15 league appearances for Norwegian outfit Lillestrom.
Montpellier climbed up to 11th position on 11 points thanks to the win against Toulouse.
Adams was a member of the Flying Eagles squad that featured at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
He did not score a single goal as the Flying Eagles lost 2-1 to Senegal in the round of 16.
In August 2018, Adams joined Norwegian side Sogndal from Jamba Football Academy in Nigeria.
He made his debut for the club on 28 August 2018 but missed much of the 2020 season due to injury.
His contract with Sogndal expired at the end of the 2021 season as he ended the season with 10 goals in 28 games.
On 2 December 2021, Adams signed a three-year contract with Lillestrøm.
