Sky Bet Championship club Barnsley have announced the signing of former Golden Eaglets Daniel Jinadu reports Completesports.com.
Jinadu joined the Reds following a successful trial period and will link up with the U23s side for the 21/22 Professional Development League campaign, while also providing competition for the first team.
The young goalkeeper represented England at U15 and U16 level before opting to play Nigeria.
He started three games for the Golden Eaglets at the 2019 U17 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, reaching the Round of 16.

“I’m absolutely delighted to have signed,” Jinadu told the club website.
“Just to be at such a great club and have the opportunity to continue my career and take the next stage of my career, be at this club and do that.
“Being behind the likes of great goalkeepers like Brad Collins and Jack Walton, being here and being able to learn from them and experience them is just amazing so I’m really happy to be here.”

Lets pray for this youngster to succeed. And lets pray he would want to come for Nigeria again in the very near future. Right now, Nigeria don’t have a goal keeper. Only Uzoho, but coach won’t place him. The current one is the worst goal keeper in the whole world. I suspect he is blind. How one can use a blind guy as a goal-keeper is beyond me. But he could not see a very simple shot from outside the box. What a mess.
Beats my imagination why Robs has resolved to sink or swim with Okoye!
