All-rounder Joey Evison, 17, has signed a three-year contract with relegated Nottinghamshire. The teenager made a first-team breakthrough at Trent Bridge this season with a debut in the final home game against Warwickshire.
Evison, who managed 45 and 12 and bowled in nine overs for Notts against Warwickshire, is delighted to have earned a deal with the club.

“My first-class debut was special. Now I’ve got my first deal. It’s another goal ticked off,” said Evison, as reported by the BBC. Evison made his England Under-19s debut in July and has managed three further appearances for the national youth side.
