Everton are being linked with a move for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham but a move looks unlikely for more than one reason. The Toffees are looking to bolster their attack for next season with a new striker high on the wanted list of boss Marco Silva, and Abraham has been mentioned as a target.
The 21-year-old has been outstanding while on loan with Aston Villa this season and has caught the eye when helping them reach the Championship play-off final, where they will play Derby County. Reports have claimed that Everton will make an £18million approach in the close season, but Chelsea will be unwilling to cash in as they remain under a transfer bargain.

As things stand Chelsea will not be able to sign any new players during the next two transfer windows, so the youngster will be needed at Stamford Bridge. Even if Chelsea did agree to sell, it is thought Abraham would turn down a move as he is determined to make the grade with Maurizio Sarri’s side. Wolves have also been linked but would face the same problems as Everton.
