Former Aston Villa forward, Gabriel Agbonlahor has called on Everton to put Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi up for sell during the summer transfer window..
Recall that the Nigerian international, who played an integral part of Everton’s relegation survival, is into the final year of his contract and will become a free agent next summer.
Agbonlahor, in a chat with Football Insider, said that it is time for the Toffees to cash in on the player.
“I think they should be open to selling Iwobi. He’s done okay. He’s been there when Everton needed someone,” Agbonlahor said to Football Insider.
“It would boost that transfer budget even more and allow them to move on to better targets and get clear of that relegation zone next season.”

These lad seem to have a problem with Nigerian footballers
He’s talking from business perspectives… Agbonlahor has no problems with Nigerian players… Now is the best time to cash in on Iwobi…Iwobi’s market value is highest at this time when he is the best player of the season at Everton. It’s about time….
This kind of utterance is pure hatred towards Iwobi, it’s not from business perspective atall. He said selling Iwobi will allow Everton to get a better player and help them to move out from relegation zone, so Iwobi is the reason Everton almost relegate this season?…I quote “It would boost that transfer budget even more and allow them to move on to better targets and get clear of that relegation zone next season. Why Iwobi? This statement clearly shows he doesn’t like Nigeria atall.
Thanks @Unique you got my point..
Agbonlahor is bloody failure both in Premiere League and at the National level, he should leave Iwobi alone, he was part of Everton success in staying afloat , let them plan for a better move upward next session!!
He allegedly slurs against Nigerian players.I have followed these dudes comments on our players, each time he has something to say about our players he makes disparaging comments,i think by his comments he has a low opinion of our players.
