Everton manager David Moyes has urged his players to fight hard in order to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Moyes made this known after the team scored a dramatic late goal to earn a 2-2 draw against Liverpool in Wednesday’s Premier League game at Goodison Park.
Reacting after the game, Moyes stated that Everton must start winning games now.

“I wish it did. I think that us picking up the points regularly is what we’ve got to try and do between now and the end of the season.
“I think there’s a group here who lack some quality in areas but we’ve got to try and fill in, we’ve got a few injuries but hopefully there are signs of one or two coming back.”

The ref cheated Liverpool. 5 minutes of added time suddenly became 10. Everton were playing a grudge match—Docoure and Beto, in particular, didn’t care if they broke their legs for life yesterday. There was so much bile in their game.
Just like Ghana vs. Nigeria, they were ready to die on the field, even if Comoros had just beaten them blue and black. Once they hear “Nigeria,” the match becomes a do-or-die affair, and winning it feels like winning the World Cup because of complex.
Liverpool are clearly the bigger team in the city, so playing against them is super extra motivation for Everton. Managing to get a draw in the derby gives them a high..
Still, Liverpool will win the league. Arsenal should just settle for 2nd place with 10 point gap from Liverpool by May.
You should try and engage brain before commenting – none of that makes any sense.
That match was a derby match and in a derby match all bets are off and if any player does not leave their on the pitch, they will be choosing a rod for their own back, not only from the coach but especially from the fans as derby matches are always extra spicy because of the heightened rivalry.
Extra time always runs longer than the stipulated added minutes in derby matches because there are always some form of “dark arts” going on like time wasting which compels the ref to try and even out any noticeable time wasting attempts otherwise he too will have problems from fans of either side.
Also to just boldly conclude that Liverpool will win the league is short sighted to say the least at this stage in the season when they are just 7 points clear and there are still 14 games to play. Probably? Yes, but in no way definite.
I’m sorry, Mr. DaLie, that I didn’t “engage my brain” before commenting. Hopefully, you did, sir?
It says a lot about your level of intelligence, age, and exposure when you attack PERSONAL OPINIONS before airing your own PERSONAL OPINIONS.
That’s how the other infantile one who called himself seafarer or something came to judge who’s intelligent and who isn’t while declaring himself the ultimate genius. You simply agree or disagree and then provide your own perspective. Anything other than that casts you as a kid (physically or mentally) among adults.
A quick tip: You don’t attack personal opinions unprovoked because that’s exactly what you want to share too, and no one appointed you an opinion judge or policeman. You only correct/attack FACTS – which are universally verified and publicly accepted truths.
Normally, I’d ignore the fluffy verbiage of ignorance and laughable childish lectures you spewed (who you dey teach??), but I shouldn’t do that all the time for your own sake, not mine. I don’t really care.
