Everton are lining up a summer bid for Lyon forward Bertrand Traore, reports claim. With Cenk Tosun’s time at Goodison Park expected to come to an end this summer, manager Marco Silva is eager to strengthen his attacking options and has set his sights on Burkina Faso international Traore.

Since leaving Premier League outfit Chelsea in 2017 to join Lyon on a permanent basis, the 23-year-old forward has scored 20 goals from 63 Ligue 1 appearances. However, Traore has fallen down the pecking order towards the end of the campaign and he has made just two starts in the previous two months, leading to suggestions he will be offloaded this summer.
Everton are hoping they can tempt the forward to return to England’s top flight and they are said to be willing to fork out the rumoured £16million it will take to land his signature.
