Victor Osimhen was in action for Galatasaray who edged visiting Elfsborg 4-3 on matchday 3 of the Europa League on Wednesday.
The win saw Galatasaray move to the top of the 36-team league table.
Osimhen, who was in the starting line-up, was replaced by former Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi on 86 minutes.
Another Nigerian, Ibrahim Buhari, was in action for Elfsborg and played for 90 minutes.
Galatasaray have now won three straight games and are unbeaten in their last 10 games (eight wins, two draws).
Osimhen scored with a bicycle kick at the weekend to help Galatasaray beat Antalyaspor 3-0 away.
Since joining The Turkish giants on loan from Napoli, the Super Eagles striker has scored three goals, provided three assists in six games in all competitions.
