Aribo scored a wonderful comeback goal impressive!new boy Hagi’s form means Aribo have to come from the bench for the last couple of games.
Steven Gerrard reverted Aribo to his more comfortable number 10 role and he scored a great solo goal kudos to this talent who must leave Rangers in the summer for the premier league to enhance his great potentials.
Another player who sparkled was Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure who had a great game against united and scored to cap a beautifully performance though his goal wasn’t enough to give his team victory as Anthony Martial equalised against the run of play.
Meanwhile, going by today’s performances the duo of Dennis and Aribo proved their mettle and I’m sure their international manager was proud of their performances which ultimately will cement their places for the upcoming double headers against Sierra Leone.
Yes indeed. One small correction though, Aribo was slotted in as a leftback in today’s match. He came off the bench. It was on one of his forays that he netted the game tying goal
Thanks @ Amo for the correction.
Though what I saw was the highlight,I hope that position is not made permanent.Though a good player always acquit himself come what may example of similar situation is Ayo Saka of Arsenal.
Hopefully,he makes a move quickly in the summer to save a blossoming career.
Aribo’s goal was fantastic
Highlighting on Saka I hope we don’t miss out on him. And if our wingers or full backs can learn from Saka’s pull out or crosses I will be so happy because Saka’s delivery and assists is just too accurate much that he is already on double figure on assists in just a few matches for Arsenal. If such deliveries are fed to Osimhen honestly I am sure he will bury a lot of it with ease.
Ighalo should be more beasty if he is to convince the fans that he deserves a stay. His hold up play is very good but just like against Chelsea where he missed a golden opportunity when put through one on one only to shot tamely at the keeper, he needs to take chances because if they had drawn or lost the press will not come easy on him and this is exactly what doubters have been talking about before his signing. I hope he sits up.
As for Aribo and Dennis their two goals is just a masterpiece, Aribo’s was a total mesmerizing and Dennis’s was a mix of accuracy plus guts to get a deft lofty finish. Okereke is off form but he will comeback good again I know. The country is blessed with attacking talents and anything good is possible to achieve if we get everyone on board.
You’ve summed up everything well. But for Saka, such great talent but I think we should just let him be, let him develop physically, and try not stir up this using Nigeria to bargain for a place in the England national team. When he gets to his mid 20s, and still doing well n available, then we may go for him. We honestly stand no chance if England comes calling.
