Slovenia have now qualified for the knockout rounds of the European Championship and also a major international tournament for the first time in their history.
The draw did not affect England’s chance of progressing as they had already advance heading into Tuesday’s fixture.

After the conclusion of the group games, England, on five points, topped the group and are joined in the knockout round with Denmark (three points) and Slovenia (three points).
Serbia crashed out in the group after finishing bottom with two points.
