Ardan Guker netted a sublime goal as Turkey began their Euro 2024 campaign on a winning note after overcoming Georgia 3-1 on Tuesday.
Turkey opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a screamer shot from Mert Müldür from 20- yards to the delight of the fans in the stadium.
The team extended their lead in the 27th minute, but the goal was disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for offside.

However, Georgia leveled parity in the 32nd minute through Georges Mikautadze’s low drive shot.
Guker grabbed the headline with a sublime shot that went straight to the far corner of the goal post to make it 2-1.
Kerem Aktürkoğlu took the game beyond Georgia’s reach as he netted the third goal to seal the maximum points for Turkey.
