England have seal a place in the semi-finals of the ongoing Euro-2024 after defeating Switzerland 5-3 on penalties on Saturday.
Breel Embolo had put Switzerland ahead after 75 minutes when he poked home from close range after John Stones failed to clear, and Bukayo Saka levelled for England five minutes later with a brilliant strike in off the far post.

There was no need for England fans to panic though, as Gareth Southgate’s side scored all five of their penalties.
After Cole Palmer stepped up first and scored for England, goalkeeper Jordan Pickford helped the team to an early advantage in the shootout as he saved Manuel Akanji’s strike.
England will meet either Netherlands or Turkey, who play later on Saturday.
