Oghenekaro Etebo is set to make his first ever Europa League appearance tonight (Thursday) when Galatasaray host Croatian side, Hajduk Split, at the Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi Turk Telekom Stadium.
Etebo has previously played for four European clubs – Feirense of Portugal, Las Palmas of Spain, Stoke City of England and Getafe of Spain, but never played on the continent.
The Nigeria international who only recently joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal from Stoke City, made his competitive debut for the club in a Turkish Super Lig game over the weekend.

Etebo was in action on Sunday after replacing Algeria International Sofiane Feghouli in the 72nd minute as Galatasaray defeated reigning champions, Istanbul Basaksehir 2-0.
The 24-year-old who said on his social media pages that he was excited to be part of this great victory’ will be keen to help Galatasaray in the Europa qualifying third round.
