Golden Eaglets head coach Manu Garba says his side will beat Burkina Faso in their opening game at the WAFU B U-17 Championship.
Garba will begin the defence of their title against the same opponent they beat in the final two years ago.
Victory against the Burkinabes will certainly boost the morale of the Eaglets, who are firm favourites to win the title again.
The experienced tactician is optimistic his side will get the better of their opponent.

Good luck Manu Garba. You will win and my Nigeria proud.
Ghana prepared well for this tournament, you can see by their results they have built a strong team. The same cannot be said of Nigeria that hurriedly put together a team within 3 weeks.
Nigerian boys are not good…
Is this how you judge football? Just 15mins into a tournament proper you say they’re not good. SMH how long have the boys been in camp and what’s the reason for you saying they’re not good with scores still goalless and Nigeria coming closer and dominating. Just because they miss a goal you run here spreading calamity. E dey your body o!!!
Please could you/Someone leave a link to see this game ty
MaXfm?Think i figured it out?
When going into a tournament that involves similar West African opponents NFF must not develop a habit of early preparation. The build up play is great and I can tell that if the team were together for much longer time before the tournament we would have overcomed the physical Burkinababes. I will shift my blame to NFF and nothing else because I see prospects in this team most especially the Captain of the team who has some much creativity except for the goal he missed.
