I believe the switch to Nigeria raised Ademola’s confidence as the talent has always been there but needed a spark to be unleashed. His time at Leipzig and Everton were moments of low confidence. That confidence started to rise during his time at Leicester which coincides with his switch to Nigeria….African football toughened him and this is why National team football is crucial for professional players. Hottest Nigerian player right now.
I totally agree with you! He has found grace after switching to play for Nigeria. God willing, he will continue to succeed and win trophies for Nigeria. I am indeed happy for him, and long may his stellar performances continue!
What he said was right playing for Nigeria had given him that toughness and the physicality he needed to succeed both in seria A and also playing as an African player.
Lookman – The football cheat code.⭐❤️
Thank gosh you are speaking for yourself. It was his switch to seria a, on a team where he can play regular. He is now consistent and contiued off from last season. He was mostly coming off the bench on leicester and played in a terrible system under scott parker. Him playing regularly is what made him ready for the national team. How can playing for nigeria 6-8 times a year make him better at his club? You giving the national team too much credit
He wanted to play, so he left the english league
I agree with you that Gasperini help mould his game but you cannot ignore the fact that playing for a national team will raise a player’s game and his profile. Ademola made his his national team debut 2022 before the move to Atalanta.
Helped*
His switch to Nigeria actually helped him a lot. Playing for a national team like Nigeria elevates players profile. Dele Bashiru only played for Nigeria once and the next thing lazio came calling for him .
This is what a Roma scout advised about signing Lookman from Leipzig.
Fontes’ assessment stated, “In the defensive phase, he struggles to understand the game. I have concerns about his competitive mentality, confidence, and ability to perform under pressure. His performances are very inconsistent. There are better options available to us, and I would not recommend signing him.”
Heard RM going for luku luku bobo as they planning to ditch vini .
He’s a total package, plays with his brain not energy (technically very sound) those who go for playing with power and energy are prone to injuries…i hardly hear say Ademola sustain injuries no matter how tough the opponent maybe
Ademola Lookman is far better than most other African footballers.
Meanwhile, Osihmehn, playing in tolotolo league, as monkey post normally yarn his rubbish, has scores two goals against on of the top premier league side in England
Oshimen is too wasteful chai!! He supposed don score like 5 goals in the first half alone
