Super Eagles head coach Finidi George face a major injury crisis ahead of his side’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin.
A number of the team’s regular stars are currently injured and could miss both games.
Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is currently nursing a muscle injury.
Osimhen underwent recovery work at the Partenopei’s Konami Training Centre on Monday.
The 23-year-old is doubtful for Francesco Calzona’s trip to Fiorentina this weekend.

Winger Samuel Chukwueze is also currently sidelined with an injury.
The extent of the injury is not known at the moment.
Boavista left-back Bruno Onyemaechi is expected to miss the remainder of the campaign due to injury.
Moses Simon, Zaidu Sanusi and Tyrone Ebuehi have already been ruled out of qualifiers.
Vice-captain William Troost-Ekong recently returned to training after undergoing surgery at the end of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
