Kennedy Boboye has resigned from his position as head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) outfit, Sunshine Stars.
Boboye took the decision following Sunshine Stars’ 1-0 loss to Heartland at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Sunday.
The former Plateau United gaffer cited undue interference from the club’s management as reason for his action.
The former international returned to the Akure club for a second stint last season.
The 50-year-old helped the Sunshine Stars maintained their top-flight status.
Sunshine Stars currently occupy 14th position on the NPFL table with 13 points from 11 matches.
