Liverpool utility man James Milner could be used once again to plug the gaps at the back for Saturday’s arrival of Crystal Palace. Defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to be out for around a month after suffering a knee injury while Dejan Lovren and Joe Gomez are also unavailable to face the Eagles.
Milner would be more than comfortable deputising in the absence of Alexander-Arnold as Liverpool look to extend their four-point lead over Premier League title rivals Manchester City.
