Nigeria forward Cyriel Dessers is set to complete a move to KRC Genk after Heracles Almelo accepted a €4m bid from the Belgian Pro League club on Monday, reports Completesports.com.
Heracles Almelo initially requested for €6m to sell their star striker who only joined them from another Eredivisie club FC Utrecht last summer.
Dessers is expected to sign a four-year contract with the former Belgian League champions.
The transfer according to Het Laaste Nieuws will not be finalized until July 1 due to contractual reasons.

Dessers will come in as a direct replacement for Tanzania forward Mbwana Samatta who left Genk for Premier League club Aston Villa in January.
The 25-year-old will teamed up with Nigerian duo, Paul Onuachu and Stephen Odey at the club.
Dessers finished as joint top scorer in the Dutch top flight last season after the competition was called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
His impressive form for Genk earned him an invitation to the Super Eagles for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in March which was later postponed due to the spread of Covid-19.
