Can believe Afeez Aremu is still under 20
2 years after leaving nigeria league where he’d played more than 3seasons.
Wonders shall never end.
This is very ridiculous.
I thought we have gone beyond the issue of age cheat in the under age competition, this is a bad taste.
One can only conclude that our coaches are to blame for this:Inability to look inward in the schools, amateur leagues, (nay the Nigeria league) and discover true under age players in this category and harness their talents to achieve desired results.
We need to ask questions, which football club did players like Simon Moses, Samuel Kalu, Iheanacho, Isaac success, Nwakali brothers, and others were playing before they became professional players abroad. They were players with amateur football clubs before they sought greener pastures, and so Aigbogun needs to be reminded the talents are here in Nigeria who are truly young and reliable.
