Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has admitted that the ball came off his arm to score his third goal as Arsenal lost 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The Argentine was the man of the match for the hosts as they ripped the Gunners apart and opened the scoring within the first minute and added a second before the half-time break.
He completed his hat-trick in the 61st minute with the help of his hand.
Speaking in a post-match interview with Sky Sports, Aguero smirked when asked about the goal and whether his hand got a touch on the ball.
“I am very happy,” Aguero said on his three goals against Arsenal in a post-match interview with Sky Sports.
“It is more important to win. I honestly think it was in the chest but now I see in the TV it was a handball.”
