Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has revealed that he expect a tough battle between the Reds and Arsenal in Saturday’s Premier League clash at Anfield.
The two Premier League title contenders will face off in a six-pointer as the Gunners look to extend their one-point lead at the top.
Arsenal head into the game having beaten Brighton 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
Liverpool, on the other hand, dropped points last week as they drew 0-0 to Manchester United.

However, in an interview with the Club’s official website, Van Dijk stated that Liverpool will make life difficult for Arsenal.
“Definitely [Saturday is a massive game]. A very tough game ahead of us, Arsenal are in very good shape. Obviously it’s going to be a big one and one that I’m definitely looking forward to.They are very good, they are a very good team in every aspect,” Van Dijk said, via the club’s official website.
“I think they are very good and we have to be very good as well at the weekend to win the game. But I love to look at my own team and I love to look at what we can bring to the table, and we have a lot to do as well and we can make it very difficult for them too.
“I have got massive respect for them. But I want to win the game and we will do everything in our power and my power to do so.”
