Frank Onyeka put up a fine performance as Brentford defeated Manchester City 2-1 at the Etihad on Saturday afternoon.
Onyeka was in action for 87 minutes in the thrilling encounter.
The midfielder was replaced by Joshua Pelanda DaSilva.
The 24-year-old has made 12 league appearances for the Bees this season.
Ivan Toney, who was snubbed by England manager, Gareth Southgate in his World Cup squad opened scoring for the visitors on 16 minutes.
Phil Foden equalised for City before half-time with a superb half-volley.
City, who missed the chance to move top of the Premier League, were frustrated by a mixture of poor finishing, wasteful passing and resilient Brentford defending afterwards.
Toney tapped home the winning goal in the 97th minute.

Great performance
He did very well
You are born to shine Onyeka. You played so well today that Manchester City players could not contain you. Come and help us destroy Portugal next week.
Heaven bless Onyeka and all deserving Super Eagles players.
What a way to shut the mouth of many of the ignoramus who felt onyenka do not merit the call up. Continue to do your thing boy!!!
So one good performance should be overlooked for a champions league regular who led his team to their first ever round of 16……….I think we know the real ignoramus here.
Thumbs up Sisterwoman Mercy. All these evil fans with evil intentions who said Onyeka is not Super Eagles material are nowhere to be found. Onyeka is far better than several other Nigerian midfielders out there. Next year he will move to a bigger club.
Heaven bless Onyeka and all deserving Super Eagles players.
Good performance today but how consistent is he? of course after warming the bench for so long what better game to prove to the coach that he deserve to start subsequent games.
Welldone Onyeka!
Frank Onyeka you are a very good player if Nigeria coach can use you and Indidi the same time that will be great
