Tottenham displayed one of their performances in the Premier League as Spurs thrashed Manchester City 4-0 on Saturday at the Etihad Stadium.
It was a performance worth winning any league title as the visitor took advantage of every goal-scoring chance that came their way.
Their worst home defeat since moving to this ground 21 years ago. It’s now five straight defeats for Guardiola’s side, and a new low for the manager himself.
City has not been on a run like this since 2006, when then boss Stuart Pearce lost six in a row.

Maddison opened the scoring on 13 minutes, firing home from Dejan Kulusevski’s exceptional cross, before adding another seven minutes later. His second strike was even sweeter, lifting the ball over Ederson in the Man City goal after great work from Son Heung-Min.
Porro’s 52nd-minute goal came after a slick Tottenham move, with the Portuguese receiving a pass from Dominic Solanke before powering a shot past Ederson.
An injury-time goal from Brennan Johnson put the icing on the cake, and gave Guardiola the biggest thrashing in a home league game across his entire managerial career. The only other time that he’s lost a home game by four or more goals was in the UEFA Champions League back in April 2014, when Real Madrid beat his Bayern side 4-0 in Munich.

Pepito! Chai!
Pep just dey collect left, right center.
He’s missing his backbone. They need Rodri, or someone like him fast.
Lovely goal from Iwobi today vs Wolves. Enjoyed the goal celebration with Bassey, who grabbed Iwobi’s left foot to “personally” thank it first, before commencing a celebratory dance.
The match did not end the way they wanted, but Iwobi will feel good about that goal for a long time.
