Enyimba of Aba technical adviser, Usman Ad’Allah, says he’s pleased with the maximum points fetched by his charges in a 2-0 triumph against 9-man Katsina United in a gritty NPFL clash on Wednesday even though fans yearned for more goals, Completesports.com reports
“We scored only two goals despite the fact they had two men out,” Abd’Allah began.
“But when you look at the overall performance of the team, you look at the new players that have been integrated, they are doing very well. They are the future of this team.
“These are young vibrant players and I’m happy with their performances. Like Reuben Bala is integrating very well and is beginning to get a place.
“You see Okorom came in for (injured) Abalogu and displayed a very good performance. That is what I want.
“I think I’m beginning to get the whole team settled now and they are integrating very well.
“I am happy with the integration of the team, I’m happy with the buildup of the team.
“Even though the supporters wanted to see more goals, the most important thing is three points. If you get three points and two goals, it’s a plus and I’m happy.”
The victory which propelled Enyimba to three-match unbeaten run, was a birthday gift for enterprising Reuben Bala.
Bala added one year on match day and posted a commanding performance on his second start of the season for the People’s Elephant.
His first start was at Niger Tornadoes.
