Unai Emery is hoping Aaron Ramsey can make a big contribution to the end of Arsenal’s season before departing in the summer.
The Welshman agreed a pre-contract deal with Juventus earlier in the season after contract talks with the Gunners came to a halt.
He has been rotated in and out of Emery’s side for most of the season so far but has recently re-established himself and scored important goals, including the first in their 2-0 Europa League win over Napoli this week.

The Gunners could still claim Europa League glory – a trophy which boss Emery has won three times – and get into the top four of the Premier League by the time the season draws to a conclusion.
And Emery has called on Ramsey to show the fans his best form before he leaves for Serie A next term. “It’s not easy for him after he signed for Juventus but his focus is to help us and his attitude is a very amazing attitude towards each training session,” Emery said. “I continued speaking with him about doing something very important in the last matches here in two competitions that are very important for us. “He wants to do something important for the supporters and I want to do something important with for him in his last matches here.”
