Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike has assured his compatriot Victor Moses that he will enjoy his stay at Fenerbahce reports Completesports.com.
Both players featured for the Super Eagles from 2012 to 2015 and were instrumental to the Super Eagles lifting the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
Moses joined Fenerbahce from Chelsea on an 18 months loan deal the Blues announced on Friday.
“Welcome to Kadikov my brother. All the best. Fenerbahce is a great club, give it all,” Emenike wrote on his Instagram Status update.
Emenike, posted two spells at the famous Istanbul club.
Moses also revealed he was encouraged to team up with Fenerbahce by Emenike.
“I talked to Emenike. He said I would be very happy (at Fenerbahce) and must go there,” he told Fenerbache television.
“Fenerbache are a top club and I am very happy to be here.”
“I have positive thoughts and I have heard about the history and size of this club.”
The 28 year old watched his new teammates lose 1-0 to Umraniyespor in the second leg of the Turkish Cup second leg round of 16 on Thursday and could make his debut on Monday against Yeni Malatlyaspor.
Moses becomes the fifth Nigerian to feature for the club after Uche Okechukwu, Austin Okocha, Joseph Yobo and Emenike.
Fenerbahce sit two points from bottom of the Turkish top flight division, 21 points behind leaders Istanbul Basaksehir.
