Ejuke and Otele are needed on the right side for Nigeria’s attack… off with Iheanacho or Chukwueze.
Time to recall Ejuke to the SE for AFCON qualifiers. I only hope his head is now correct and he dribbles with sense!
Very good news! Sevilla is one of the top clubs in Spain and it means Ejuke in a top league like Spain will get SE chance. Good move.
We need a foreign coach more importantly to scrap the home base quota forced on domestic managers by the NFF,so the likes of Ejuke and others doing well in Europe will have opportunities to improve the super eagles.
The strange names we witnessed during Finidi’s reign as super eagles coach, limited the overall quality of the team.
NFF are the biggest problem we have in our football.
Until we get it right in management,we will continue to underachieve.
That fool called Gusau is trying to be frugal, and it is destroying our football….The Olympics is very close yet there is no concrete planning or preparation in sight, no friendlies nothing at all and God forbid if the girls fail, they will start blaming the team.
Gusau will wait until a week or 3 days to the Olympics before he contacts Waldrum to camp the team in Abuja. As an accountant, he believes 2 – 3 weeks camping is a waste of resources.
Nigerians are yet to heal from the hot ripples from the administrative summersaults they made with the post of the head coach of a brand as big as the SE.
This is deserving! Chidera Ejuke has truly reinvented his game after his performance during the 2021 AFCON where he was blamed for playing to the gallery. Though a winger, he’s admired for his dribbling skills and quick feet. Following a brilliant displays for his Belgian side, many have called for his invitation to the national team but all have fallen on deaf ears from previous managers.
With a move to the elite division in Spain and top performance on a consistent basis for his Spanish side, Sevilla, he’s sure to get a look in in the shortest possible time.
Sadly, Ejuke like many other top players past or present fail to fulfill their football purpose with the national side following late integration to the senior national team, Super Eagles.
That being said, he’ll need to fight off competition from other wingers like Lookman Ademola, Moses Simon… Aside wing role, many have argued that he could fancy his chance in the advanced midfield positions in account of his footwork and dribbling skills but all of that remain to be seen.
Wishing you a successful stint with Sevilla.
