Venezia drew level from the penalty spot which was converted by Francesco Di Mariano.

If Ebuehi can get atleast 25 SerieA games under his belt this season then he is good to go in that Nigerian right back possible….I know Ola Aina has other ideas as he too will be playing in SerieA this season…..Let us see as it goes but all I know is that SE is covered at both fullback positions……I will not like to see a central defender or midfielder playing that position for Nigeria again….A natural fullback provide attacking options and he smells danger coming from the flanks than a central defender or midfielder.
You are right but Mr Rohr will play Akpoguma there and tell you he needs Ariel threat LMAO! Opposition will run around this pillar yet coach will not correct his mistakes like drey and end up loosing matches.
This is biased reporting against Ola Aina who played the LWB role for Torino yesterday against Cremonese where he scored the last kick in the 4-1 shootout victory.
I will want Bologna who has as squad member a certain 21yr old Kingsley Michael who played with Victor Osimhen of 2015 Eaglets to qualify to the next round to meet Ebuehi’s Venezia.
Another product of that all conquering Eaglets is Orji Okonkwo a Bologna loanee who scored the 1st goal for Citadella in their victory on Saturday.
CS should always give us the full course meal.
IT IS HIGH TIME GERNOT ROHR SHOULD STOP USING PLAYERS AT THE WRONG POSITION.
***STOP USING AKPOGUMA(CENTRAL DEFENDER) AT RIHT BACK
***STOP USING SEMI AJAYI(CENTRAL DEFENDER) AT DEFENSIVE MIDFIELD
***STOP IGNORING C.DESSERS, C.EJUKE, T.MOFFI,A.LOOKMAN,ONYEKURU, S.OSIGWE IN SUPER EAGLE.THEY ARE ALL HAVE 100% POTENTIAL TO DELIVER IN THE SQUAD.
***STOP INVITING NEW PLAYERS THAT YOU WILL NOT USE OR ALLOW HIM TO PLAY DURING THE MATCH e.g Yakubu, osigwe, alampasu, onyeka,Ejuke,Moffi,DESSERS e.t.c.
@TALK YOUR OWN,you will make for a very terrible coach.
ALSO STOP INVITING SAMUEL KALU INTO SUPER EAGLE. HE IS HALF FIT(health) PLAYER, SO THAT HE WILL NOT BE SHORT-ONE FOR YOU IN MAJOR COMPETITION, LIKE WHAT HE DID IN AFCON 2019.
Tunde what if Samuel Kalu was your son or your father will you wish him to loose international call up because he is injure prone when we all know how good he is when fit like Hazard and Neymar??? Strange Forumites!
Better to keep him alive by staying away from SE for now, we don’t want another Okwaraji’s episode on our hand. Do you think he can make it alive if he collapse and arrested while playing in Nigeria, CAR, Liberia or Cape Verde?
Am sure his family will agree that he should rather be alive for them than honouring SE invitation for now
Lazy and biased reporters are destroying the great efforts of the pioneers of CSN.
Two matches featuring SE right backs were played in the same tournament and they decided to beam the focus on Ebuehi only.
Aina won a penalty and almost scored from two long range efforts for his side. He was one of the best players on the field..
Like Ebuehi, he scored his penalty and his team also progressed to the next round.
Someone needs to call these lazy and political reporters to order.
Ebuehi is equally a good player.
Compared to all available SE full backs,Aina remains the best option based on contribution in clubsides and SE matches.
I have always said there is an agenda again players from certain region of Nigeria. This is just too obvious nowadays. Let them continue.
@Sunny, you are right but such agenda will never succeed because perpetrators will not survive such agenda.
Even Akpoguma has started shouting he wants to be played in the central defence… and not right back. Balogun always quarreling with Gernot Rohr… The truth will soon start coming out… from the way I see, that Akpoguma guy no want look anybody face and him feel say him suppose the start for Eagles… Wahala dey be that o. It means between Balogun and Ekong… One person dey threatened be that… These are interesting times, but Balogun was so poor recently against Molde of Sweden. Nigeria also has another good defensive midfield player in Innocent Bonke in that Molde team that destroyed Rangers last week…
@Jimmy, Balogun remains the best in that central defence for SE. The SE defence has kept more clean sheets with Balogun on the pitch. The battle for the remaining position in CB is between Akpo,Ekong,Awaziem,Omeruo and Ajayi.
