Super Eagles and FC Twente right-back Tyronne Ebuehi has been included in the Dutch Eredivisie Team Of The Month for October, Completesports.com reports.
The Dutch top flight organiser made the announcement on their verified Twitter handle on Friday.
Ebuehi, 24, was one of Twente’s top performers last month after making four appearances and helping them to two victories.

Also, he had an assist in their last game in October which was a 5-1 home win against PEC Zwolle.
And the Team of the Month which is in a 4-2-3-1 formation has Ebuehi in the right-back position.
Ebuehi is on a season-long loan deal at Twente from Portuguese giant Benfica.
On May 2018, he signed a five-year contract with Benfica, however, due to injury he missed the whole 2018‒19 season.
He is part of Gernot Rohr’s 24-man squad for this month’s 2021 AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone.

This guy has something that is yet to be exploited.
wahala for jamilu Collins. with Kingsley ehizibue coming it means the slot for right back position is between Kingsley and ebuehi (who was consistent for a whole month), and for the left back is between sanusi and aina. Collins is surely losing his place.
Aina said he is more comfortable at right back. If he plays that at club let’s allow him play there for country for solidity and consistency. We can allow Collins deputize for Sanusi till we have Torunarigha who is also a natural left footer… I think Germany invited Felix Udokhai knowing Nigeria is breathing down his neck for a switch and with the recent switch of Akpoguma, they know it’s only a question of time before Udokhai follows suit… With Jordan we don’t need Udokhai… because Adarabioyo is still there and we can’t have a glut of personnel for the sake of just having everyone we want…
Thanks oo my brother @JimmyBall. Nigerians just like switching player’s position anyhow later when the player is not played in his preferred position and performs badly, they will call him names and say he is bad or not good Enough.
Clearly,
OLA AINA is a RIGHT BACK/RWB
SEMI AJAYI is NOT a DMF but a Center Back. Stop playing him there when we have a Young talented Defensive Midfielder in Samson TIJANI
Mikel AGU is not a Center Midfielder or Attacking Midfielder but a DMF
AKPOGUMA is best effective as a Center Back and not a Right Back.
Until we let this things sink before we can see the best of this guys. My one cent.
I thought he has already applied for a change of nationality?
Calvin Bassey, team mate of Balogun et Aribo at Rangers, is also a terrific option. He will give Sanusi a good fight for the left back position if invited.
We really need that guy not Collins
Nice one Ebuehi. Continue to do Super Eagles fans proud. Karry go…
Felix Udokhai has been called up to German squad. What a loss to Nigeria!.
Great show of quality from Ebuehi. I think he plays better as a wing back than full back. Rohr should use more of the 352 formation with Ebuehi playing the right wing back position.
But he is starring for his club playing as A Full back?? Not in a 3-5-2 formation
I did not say he is not good as a full back, I only said he plays better as a wing back. He apparently remains the best RWB/RFB in the Super Eagles without any ounce of doubt.
Ebuehi has found a niche in Holland. If he maintains this form,he’s going back to his parent club at the end of the season in great shape.
Apparently, his performances will stand him in good stead to return to Benfica not as a bit part player instead a major part of their plans next season.I also hope the injury that took one year of his football career never happen again in Jesus Christ name.
We are getting there gradually. Quality players everywhere on the pitch. For Ebuehi to make the team of the month in a league as competitive as the eredivisie is not beans.
Kudos to him, and to those among us who have always believed in his talent.
Now we have 3 good right backs in the selection pool. Aina, Ebuehi and Ehizibue. This is the kind of “problem” every coach dreams of having. Awaziem has done well in this role too, but I think he is better suited to being a CB, and should be used there hence forth.
Awaziem is playing a small club, he should be left out unless he joing a good club
Yes, where you play your football is very, very important. But sometimes, important players play in obscure leagues. E.g. Ighalo was playing his football in China during our 2018 world cup qualifiers, and during the 2019 Afcon. If a player shows that they are important to the team, you just have to accommodate them. It is up to Awaziem to prove to Rohr that he belongs in the selection pool of center backs that also includes the likes of Balogun, Ekong, Akpoguma, Ajayi, Adarabioyo, and others.
Real stiff competition for places on the right and left side of the defence, which is very good. We have a similar situation on the left although I dont fancy Collins that much. My mind goes to aina and zaidu even though aina says he prefers playing on the right. So that means there is room for another left full back. Calvin bassey looks good but he is still young and coming up. I say we give him to the end of this season for an invite (but we should make our interest known) we have players in his team we can use to entice him to the Super Eagles and if he does choose Nigeria I believe he will add something good to the team.
Indeed, making our interest known early is important!
Even if the chances that a player will be invited are slim, we should still go ahead and let the player know that we are interested and watching. That interest might motivate the player to greater heights. The player will always, always remember that we showed interest in him when he was a nobody, and this can be a very powerful factor in deciding who to play for when his development begins to attract the interest of another country. Show interest in the players before they blow up and become big stars. If we show interest after they have become big, it is usually too late. The window of opportunity is gone.
