Nigeria midfielder Joel Obi was on target as Chievo Verona recorded a 2-0 win against Frosinone in their Serie B clash on Monday night , reports Completesports.com.
Obi, who was cautioned in the 19th minute, put the home team ahead in the 54th minute.
Emanuel Vignato made the points save with the second goal a minute later.
Obi was replaced by Giovanni Di Noai in the 67th minute.
He has featured in 22 league games for Chievo this season and scored once.

In another Serie B game, Simy Nwankwo played for 30 minute in Crotone’s 1-1 away draw at Ascoli.
Nwankwo took the place of Kristiano Armenteros in the 60th minute.
He has scored 13 goals in 30 league appearances for Crotone this season.
In Spain, Oghenekaro Etebo played a part in Getafe’s hard-fought 2-1 home win against Real Sociedad.
Etebo replaced Allan Nyom in the 69th minute.
The midfielder, who missed the Azulones previous league game against Real Valladolid due to muscle injury, has scored once in 10 league appearances for his club.
