Ejuke scoress ….. Yeahhhh!!!
Well done to Akpoguma too. His best is yet to come in Nigeria colours.
Ejuke = ebeano player.
Who no like better thing?
Ejuke has been a regular for cska moscow this season. His dazzling displays have been ever present. Just like chukwueze, he has been a positive outlet for his team. The only issue being his end product. He hasn’t scored as much goals as one would expect he would. But he creates enough scoring opportunities for his team and he is always ready to take on any defense that comes his way.
With all respect to henry onyekuru, who is a capable player. But I feel with kalu uche being injured all the time now and ademola lookman’s switch not confirmed, I feel Ejuke should be the one to occupy the left wing position. He has played and thrived in that position for years. He is skilful, fast and scores goals. He can unlock defences playing from there. He just needs more game time to show what he can do.
Congratulations to akpoguma on his first goal of the season. We really need more quality central defenders in the Super Eagles and I feel he could be one of them.
In fact Sportsfan, even if Lookman’s switch is confirmed, e no sure for am.
An in form Ejuke will give him a big competition. It will be a big tug of war for that jersey. Even Chukwueze can’t relax, because Ejuke and Lookman can also operate from the right.
Additionally Pompei, Pa Musa has no intentions of hanging his boots just yet making the jostle for places down the flanks a fierce one.
For me, based on this season performance, our best wingers are:Chukwueze and Moses Simon. Chukwueze on the right while Moses Simon on the left.
Moses is a complete footballer, he can score, assist, defend and create chances. A great team player. Despite his injuries this season still has the best stats of our wingers in the top 5 league. He is more business like and not given to show boating. His absence was greatly missed by his club while his presence gives them hope in their Relegation fight.
For Chukwueze has greatly improved in his decision making and final ball under Unary his current coach.
So others like Ejuke, Henry and Kalu (who need special prayers cos of continuous injuries) will form a competitive bench. Then when Lookman comes the competition will be even more tight for starting shirt.
Friendly games are being planned with Senegal likely to be one of the two matches for June
I Want to commend the nff, this is one of the best nff we have had in recent yrs..
With these friendly games we can get to see, olise, moffi, saqid, and simy.
Ololo, when it comes to arranging grade A friendlies for the Super Eagles, I also have to enjoin you in awarding this NFF dispensation A1.
It will be great to see 2 friendly matches in June against quality African oppositions. Good results will improve our FIFA rankings and boost morale further among the players, coaching crew and all stakeholders.
Needless to say fresh faces (like Umar, Moffi etc) can be tried and the team will be tuned up and conditioned ahead of September qualifiers should the friendly matches go ahead.
