Super Eagles defender Ola Aina put up an impressive performance as Torino ended their six-game winless run following a 4-0 away win at Brescia in Saturday’s Serie A game, reports Completesports.com.
Aina featured for the entire duration of the game in what was his 10th league appearance of the season for Torino.
The 23-year-old had an 89% successful pass rate and made two tackles to ensure his side kept a clean sheet and clinched their fourth win of the season.
Andrea Belotti’s first-half brace from the penalty spot and two goals from Alex Berenguer gave Walter Mazzarri’s men the maximum points at Stadio Mario Rigamonti.
The victory ensured the Bull jumped four places to 11th spot in the league table with 14 points from 12 games.
In Germany, Jamilu Collins was booked five minutes from time in SC Paderbon’s 1-0 home defeat to Augsburg.
Collins has played in 10 Bundesliga games for the basement side this term.
Ramon Azeez was handed a starter’s shirt as Granada lost 2-0 against Valencia in their LaLiga clash at the Estadio de Mestalla.
Azeez was replaced by Darwin Sanchis 15 minutes from time.
The 26-year-old has scored two goals in 11 league games this season.
