Nigeria’s D’Tigress have qualified for the women’s basketball event of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Despite losing 100 – 46 to the USA in their second game at the Olympic qualifying tournament in Antwerp, Belgium, D’Tigress still picked one of the tickets for the games.
Their qualification was sealed after Senegal’s 97-66 defeat to Belgium which takes them out of contention.

Belgium and Nigeria have now qualified for the Olympics while the US already qualified as World Champions.
D’Tigress gave their qualification hopes a huge boost after edging Senegal in their first game in the qualifying tournament.
This will be their third appearance at the Olympics after participating at the Athens 2004 and Tokyo 2020 games.
