Borussia Dortmund say they have yet to make a decision on the future of Jadon Sancho, but accept he will leave at some point. The 19-year-old forward has been a revelation since arriving at Dortmund from Manchester City and continues to be linked with a big-money return to the English Premier League.
Manchester United are known to be big admirers and enquired about his availability in the summer, only to be told by BVB that the player was not for sale.
United could try again at the end of the season, but Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc they have yet to make a decision on whether to sell or keep hold. “No decision has been made,” Zorc told Kicker. “But you don’t have to be a prophet to know he won’t play here for another five years.”

Zorc also believes making the switch to Dortmund has proven to be a blessing for Sancho, who has gone on to become one of the hottest young talents in world football. “He has taken this positive development [at Dortmund],” Zorc added.
“I doubt that would have been possible with top English clubs. We trust the players very early, and we are not afraid to let them play. He acknowledges that. “He’s an instinctive footballer, a street footballer, he’s always a footballer, but he’s always setting new limits.
He does not sit back satisfied. He wants to play football successfully and beautifully. That alone is his motivation.”
United are unlikely to be the only interested party should BVB decide to cash in.
