Lecce defender Patrick Dorgu is expected to travel to England soon to undergo Manchester United medicals on Thursday and sign a contract with the Premier League giants.
After seeing their first bid rejected by Lecce, United were adamant to continue negotiating until eventually reaching an agreement upon a total fee of about €38m.
According to Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio (via Football Italia, the Serie A club will be guaranteed €30m, with the deal also including €7.5 in add-ons.
The Italian journalist reported that the two clubs are now finalising the last details of the move, adding that Dorgu will travel to Manchester on Thursday.
Dorgu is set to leave Lecce after two seasons at the Stadio Via del Mare, during which he scored five goals from 57 Serie A appearances.
